Reality TV star and singer Kerry Katona has publicly disclosed that she recently underwent emergency corrective surgery on her breasts after suffering a rupture of her scar tissue.
The Road to Surgery
The 45-year-old celebrity had only just recovered from her fourth breast augmentation procedure in August, which involved an uplift and new implants. However, her recovery was cut short when she revealed in October that she required another operation.
Writing in her exclusive column for new! magazine, Katona explained the cause of the medical setback. "I had ruptured the tissue after having breast implants because I didn’t rest enough after having the implants put in in the first place," she confessed.
Recovery and Support System
The corrective procedure has now been completed, and Kerry is under strict doctor's orders to rest at home. This follows the recent conclusion of her UK tour with friend Katie Price, which wrapped up last week.
During this challenging time, Katona has leaned heavily on her new partner, Paolo Margaglione, whom she met on Celebs Go Dating earlier this year. She gushed about his unwavering support, stating, "Paolo has been so supportive and amazing the entire journey through with my surgery and recovery. He was there when I went down for surgery and when I woke up. I really do love that man!"
Looking Forward to Christmas
Despite the health scare, the future looks bright for Kerry. She and Paolo are now blending their families and are eagerly anticipating their first Christmas together.
"This year it’s my first Christmas with Paolo and his daughters and all of my children are all going to be there so it’s a real special one this year," she revealed. The star is planning a warm, Home Alone-themed holiday celebration, focusing on creating memories with her loved ones.
