Former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas has revealed the results of her breast reduction surgery in a series of bikini photos from her holiday in Dubai. The 42-year-old Welsh model, who rose to fame on the seventh series of the reality show in 2006, shared a video on Instagram on Saturday (8 November) showing herself in an orange and blue striped bikini, captioned: "It's good to be back".
In subsequent posts, Thomas modelled a white snakeskin bikini while pouring champagne, and a brown bikini with a black wide-brimmed hat. All three outfits showcased the outcome of her recent surgery to remove her breast implants, which she described as the "best decision" she had made.
On Instagram, Thomas expressed her gratitude to her surgeon, Dr Salih Onur Basat, and encouraged other women considering the procedure: "Girls if your thinking about it please just go for it! My only regret is that I didn’t go sooner." She had previously asked fans whether she should go natural or have an uplift after removal, ultimately opting for the latter.
Thomas travelled to Turkey for the operation, stating she "could not wait" as her breasts felt "big" for her after losing weight. She admitted to The Mirror that she does not usually pay for surgeries, instead collaborating with surgeons on social media. However, she said she would not want her daughters to undergo any form of boob job, adding: "I’d do everything to avoid it, because I know they would regret it."
Before Big Brother, Thomas won Miss Wales in 2003 and worked as a model. Her series of the show was the third most-watched in its history, averaging 4.7 million viewers; she was evicted on Day 86, finishing seventh.
