Cat Burns Sheds 'Joyful Tears' After Life-Changing Breast Reduction Surgery

Singer Cat Burns has marked the start of her 'new life' after undergoing a successful breast reduction operation, sharing the deeply personal news with fans on Instagram. The 25-year-old, who recently appeared on the celebrity edition of BBC One's The Traitors, said she had struggled with physical discomfort and emotional distress since her early teens.

In a candid post, Burns wrote: 'I've just come out of my breast reduction surgery! Had a big fat cry once I saw mum, sisty and Sarah—joyful tears by the way. The amount of relief and happiness I feel is overwhelming.' She explained that her breasts had caused pain during exercise and unwanted oversexualisation, and that she had tried various methods before deciding surgery was the right path.

'I tried so many different ways to work with my body... but I thought while I'm young and healthy and by the universe's grace am able to go through with this surgery, I want to love my body going into the next part of my life! Today marks the start of my new life!' she added.
