Zoe Ball Recalls Off-Camera Encounters with Katie Price

Ball, who has not yet watched Price's new documentary Nothing To Hide, reminisced about seeing Price around Brighton. 'She lived in the area in Brighton, so I'd often see her around town and she was always really fun and a really lovely lass,' Ball said. '[She is] very much what you see is what you get, but obviously in most recent times, I think everyone's been really concerned about her health and you know, this relationship with this chap. Is he her husband? I get slightly confused.'

Concerns for Price's Health and Well-Being

Ball expressed worry for Price amid a challenging chapter in her life, which has included a whirlwind marriage to Lee Andrews and reports that he had gone missing. 'She's been through a hell of a lot hasn't she, she's been quite a survivor,' Ball said. 'I really hope she's taking care of herself because I do see the images of her and I do worry for her because she looks so thin and I just hope she's...' Ball added, 'She's a tough cookie, isn't she, she's a survivor. She's survived a hell of a lot that girl.' In a heartfelt message, Ball said, 'Katie, we're sending you lots and lots of love.'

Katie Price's Documentary Nothing To Hide

Price's new four-episode documentary Nothing To Hide offers unprecedented behind-the-scenes material about her personal journey and professional career, from welcoming her firstborn son Harvey Price and managing his health requirements to her high-profile romantic relationships. A synopsis from Sky states: 'It brings a documentary lens to Katie's story, combining extraordinary unseen footage with first-time, candid testimony from those closest to Katie – family, friends, professional and personal relationships, and those who have entered her orbit over the past three decades.'

The series includes interviews with several of her closest family members and former partners, including her second husband Alex Reid and ex-boyfriends Dane Bowers and Gareth Gates. Conspicuously missing from the documentary is Peter Andre, who was married to Price from 2005 until 2009 and shares two children, Junior, 21, and Princess, 19. In a statement, Andre said: 'I have chosen not to speak publicly about these matters out of love and respect for Junior and Princess. Today Katie and I maintain an amicable relationship in the interests of our children. I sincerely wish her happiness and peace for the future.'

Jo Whiley Praises Price's Resilience

On the same podcast, Jo Whiley hailed the series as a 'great' viewing experience and commended Price for the resilience she has demonstrated through numerous personal difficulties. Whiley discussed some of the subjects explored in the documentary, prompting Ball to interject with her concerns.

Ball, along with Clive Myrie and Roman Kemp, hosts BBC Two's Just One Thing tonight at 6.30pm.
