Medical episode at Kendal Calling
A 17-year-old girl has died after suffering a medical episode at the Kendal Calling music festival in Cumbria.
Police and paramedics were called to the festival site at 2:13am on Sunday following reports of the incident. Despite efforts from emergency responders, including the administration of CPR, the girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family supported by specialist officers
The girl's family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, police said.
