The flight departed Manchester earlier in the morning but declared an emergency mid-journey. The plane landed safely at Paris Beauvais Airport, where medics were waiting to attend to the ill passenger. According to a Ryanair spokesperson, the crew called ahead for medical assistance.
"This flight from Manchester to Alicante (14 Jul) diverted to Paris Beauvais after a passenger became ill on board. Crew called ahead for medical assistance to meet the aircraft upon landing at Beauvais Airport. The passenger was disembarked and was met by medics," the spokesperson said.
Resumption to Alicante
After the passenger was taken off the plane, the aircraft departed again at 11:10 a.m. local time to continue its journey to Alicante. No further details about the passenger's condition have been released.
The incident caused a brief delay but did not significantly impact other flights at Manchester Airport or Paris Beauvais. Ryanair apologized for the inconvenience and thanked passengers for their understanding.
