PIP is a UK government benefit for people aged 16 to State Pension age, designed to help with extra costs of long-term physical or mental health conditions or disabilities. The payment is not a flat rate but split into two components: daily living (between £76.55 and £114.80 per week) and mobility (between £30.20 and £80.10 per week). Claimants who qualify for both enhanced rates could receive up to £194.90 per week, roughly £748 per month.
