Loose Women Star Confirms Show Return Amid Schedule Shake-Up

Charlene White has confirmed that the Loose Doctors are returning to ITV's Loose Women this Thursday, July 2, as part of a schedule shake-up for the daytime show.

Schedule Changes This Week

On Monday, June 29, ITV announced that Loose Women would broadcast for an additional 15 minutes each day this week, except on Thursday, due to sporting coverage. Now, Charlene White has revealed that the Loose Doctors will take over Thursday's episode, featuring familiar faces from daytime television.

White stated: "There will be lots of medical advice on tomorrow's show, actually, because the Loose Doctors are back. Doctor Amir is joined by all your favourite daytime doctors." She added that Doctor Nighat, Doctor Zoe, and Doctor Hilary will provide tips and advice on hair loss, share their honest opinions on vitamin supplement obsession, and deliver "lunchtime laughs" starting at 12:30 PM.

Loose Doctors Return After Successful Debut

The Loose Doctors first appeared on Loose Women in August 2025 as a one-off special episode. During that episode, the panel tackled taboo subjects and shared health improvement tips. Prior to the show, Dr. Amir Khan said: "This is the first time four of ITV's Daytime doctors will be on the panel together to look at the health issues that affect us all. We'll be sharing our expert medical advice and having some very candid conversations about the things that our patients are often too embarrassed to talk about, but shouldn't be, and hopefully giving them the confidence to make the most of their appointments."

Emotional Moments on Previous Episode

Last year's episode featured an emotional moment when Dr. Nighat Arif broke down in tears while discussing her young son's battle with liver cancer. She revealed that her son underwent eight operations, six rounds of chemotherapy, three Hickman line operations, and three hospital stays before receiving a life-saving liver transplant. She shared: "Afterwards, he ended up having eight operations, six rounds of chemo, three hickman line operations, three hospital stays, I totally was not the clinician I am today for about three years, and now he's ten years old. He swims for Swim England on the dive team, the donor family are our heroes but also the time when I really was able to empathise with our patients."

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV from 12:30 PM.
