TV chef John Torode provided an update on his wife Lisa Faulkner's health during an appearance on ITV's This Morning on Monday, July 13, 2026. When host Ben Shephard asked about Lisa, John replied: "She's doing really well, actually, really well, and thanks so much for asking. She thanks everybody for all their wonderful comments and their best wishes, but she's doing very well, thank you very much."
Lisa Faulkner's Cancer Diagnosis and Surgery
Lisa, 54, an actress and TV cook known for roles in Holby City, Spooks, and Waterloo Road, revealed earlier this month that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She shared on Instagram that she underwent surgery and received positive results: "It's all good, they've got everything out, so it's all clear, and I just need some radiotherapy in a few weeks."
Lisa told followers she was in "the very early stages of breast cancer" and had "quite a big op," adding that she still had "quite a bit of healing to do. But I'm good, I'm well, and feeling so much better." She credited her mammogram for early detection, saying: "I'm so grateful that I went for my mammogram. Don't put them off, go, because they found this - without this mammogram, it wouldn't have been picked up."

Following Lisa's announcement, many celebrities offered support. Amanda Holden commented: "I'm so glad you've shared this, my angel. It will inspire and help so many people. You've got this, and we all love and adore you."
