Former Airline star Jane Boulton, 55, became emotional as she revealed her best friend Mark's cancer has returned after they had celebrated him being given the all-clear. In a video shared on Instagram, the former easyJet face fought back tears while updating fans on Mark's health battle.
Devastating News After Celebration
Jane explained that Mark was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2025 and underwent intense radiotherapy and chemotherapy. She said: "We celebrated the news a few weeks ago that he had been given the all clear. Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago Mark said he had similar symptoms to what he had before so he went back for another scan and unfortunately it wasn't the news we was all hoping for so unfortunately his cancer is back so he has to go through an aggressive type of treatment and surgery."
Struggling to compose herself, Jane added: "I can't say much more than this without getting upset." She praised Mark for remaining strong despite the setback and encouraged followers to send him words of encouragement.
Outpouring of Support
Fans flooded the comments with messages of love and support. One wrote: "So sorry - he's got the best support around him xx." Another said: "Oh Jane! So sorry to hear this. Lots of love to you and Mark and his family and friends." A third added: "Keep positive and strong / you will beat this - big hug xx."
