Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, was rushed to hospital on Saturday night after suffering from what authorities described as a possible haemorrhage. Emergency services were called to her home around 8pm following reports of an unconscious or fainting person. Scott was wheeled out on a gurney and taken to McLaren Macomb Hospital, where her current condition remains unknown, according to TMZ.
Health Emergency Details
The 51-year-old reportedly experienced heavy, uncontrolled bleeding from a haemorrhage or laceration. Chesterfield Fire/EMS confirmed the response to the medical emergency. This health crisis comes months after Scott's arrest in May for allegedly driving with a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit. In that incident, officers reported she hit a parked car, though no injuries were reported. The police report noted she was stumbling, smelled of alcohol, and admitted to drinking hours earlier.
Legal Troubles
Scott was briefly held at Macomb County Jail but failed to appear at her DUI court hearing last month. However, the warrants have reportedly been dismissed. Her recent public appearances have been rare; she looked unrecognisable with a bright blonde pixie cut. She last spoke publicly in 2023, confirming she would attend her daughter Hailie's wedding and stating she sees her ex-husband 'often enough.'
Relationship History
It has been 20 years since Scott and Eminem divorced for the second time. They met in school and had an on-again, off-again relationship, marrying from 1999 to 2001 and again in 2006, with the second marriage lasting only a few months. In a 2007 interview with ABC's 20/20, Scott said: 'Money is great, but it doesn't make your husband stay at home with you. Or sleep in the same bed with you … Him being on the road and on tour … that was like the big one. I mean … constant infidelities, all the time.'
Family and Children
The former couple have three children together: Hailie, their biological daughter; Stevie, Kim's non-binary child whom Eminem adopted; and Alaina, the daughter of Scott's late twin sister, also adopted by Eminem. Scott also has a son named Parker from another relationship after her split with Eminem. Despite past tensions, the pair are said to be on good terms now.
