Clarkson Texted Morgan About Cancer Before Announcement

Jeremy Clarkson shared his prostate cancer diagnosis in the latest episode of Clarkson's Farm, with a heartfelt response from Piers Morgan who urged men to get tested. Piers has shared his support for Jeremy on Instagram, revealing that the former Top Gear star had texted him about the illness before going public.

Piers Morgan's Campaign

Piers fronted a public campaign to raise awareness for prostate cancer last year. Writing on Instagram, he said: "I was surprised when Jeremy Clarkson texted me on Boxing Day, a few days after this pic was taken, to say how much he liked my Paddy Power ad urging men to get tested for prostate cancer. Now I understand. I wish my old sparring partner all the best with his treatment. Guys, have a PSA test, it may save your life."

Fans React

Fans were quick to share their own words of encouragement for Jeremy in the comments, while also praising Piers for using his influence to motivate others to seek medical checks. "Please keep plugging this Piers," one fan commented, "it's so important! There is no national screening programme for prostate cancer and thousands of men are finding out when it's too late. Thankfully my husband's was caught early." Another added: "Shocked to hear about Jeremy and shocking there is no national screening programme. All the best to him on this journey."

Jeremy's Diagnosis

Jeremy opened up about his condition for the first time in the latest episodes of Clarkson's Farm, after the new series was shot from late 2024 to September 2025. After some time away from Diddly Squat Farm, he had a candid conversation about his health with farm manager Charlie Ireland and farmhand Kaleb Cooper. "I've got cancer. I've known since May," he revealed to them, confirming that he'd undergone surgery to have 10% of his prostate removed. "I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early so the treatment will be..."

Hospital Bed Scene

During the series finale, he recorded footage from his hospital bed, addressing viewers: "We started season five with me in a hospital bed and here we are at the end of season five and I'm back in a hospital bed. What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I'll see you for season six, and if it isn't, I won't."
