Holly Hagan Eager for Baby's Arrival During UK Heatwave
Holly Hagan Eager for Birth Amid UK Heatwave

Holly Hagan has expressed her eagerness for her baby to be born as she lamented being 38 weeks pregnant during the UK's hottest May day ever recorded. The Geordie Shore star, 33, sent temperatures soaring even higher as she snapped a selfie posing in a tiny lilac bikini, displaying her blossoming bump.

Struggling in the Heat

Sharing the scorching shot to her Instagram, she complained that she felt like 'my sides are going to burst at the seams' as she approached her due date. Heavily pregnant during the sweltering heatwave, she began her post by quipping: 'Officially “get this f*cking baby out of me” weeks along.' She continued: 'I feel like my sides are going to BURST at the seams! 38 weeks in a heat wave with a toddler is not for the weak although enjoying our last times as a family of 3.'

Cherishing Family Moments

Despite her discomfort, Holly added that she was still soaking up the last moments she had with just her husband Jacob Byth and their two-year-old son Alpha-Jax before three became four. The couple tied the knot in Ibiza in 2022 after five years of dating and became parents the following year with the arrival of Alpha-Jax in June.

Outpouring of Support

Holly was immediately flooded with compliments and messages of support from her followers and famous friends in the comments. Best pal Charlotte Crosby gushed: 'Best looking pregnant person I’ve ever seen', and fellow Geordie Shore alum Gaz Beadle assured her: 'Not long now ❤️'. Meanwhile, her footballer husband also rushed to heap praise on his stunning wife, commenting: 'Ok milfyyyy' with a string of fire emojis.

Expecting a Baby Girl

The couple revealed in December that they are expecting a baby girl in an emotional gender reveal video, after Holly admitted she had been getting 'girl vibes' and Alpha-Jax had said he wanted a sister.

Coping with Tragedy

Her pregnancy came during a very difficult time for the reality star, following the tragic death of her 19-year-old half-sister, Darci Rose Gibson. Darci tragically died after accidentally overdosing on crystal MDMA while partying with friends in Manchester in October 2025. Holly said her unborn baby – whom she told her sister about a month before her death – and Alpha-Jax have helped her cope with the tragedy and navigate her grief.

She recently told Closer: 'Trimester two has been great, now I'm getting to the uncomfortable stage. I found out I was pregnant in the September, and my sister passed in the October, so everything in that beginning stage was a bit of a blur.' She added: 'Going through such a traumatic experience with my sister has made me realise that I am strong, and this isn't going to break me. I've chosen to accept what's happened, and I know she wouldn't want to see me ruin my life because of this. I feel like I am trying to make a conscious effort to enjoy life. I have children who need me, and I have to keep pushing forward. I think I've just managed to find strength in that.'

Nervous About Growing Family

Though the TV personality admitted that she did worry about going from one child to two and was nervous about how her son would deal with having a sibling. She said: 'I think it would be hard not to be nervous. It's been Alpha-Jax on his own for such a long time. I think you kind of wonder how you split the love that you have. Am I going to be able to give them both enough attention? Is one going to feel left out? These are just natural feelings that a lot of women would have.'
