Reality television favourite Amy Childs has publicly addressed growing fan concern about her noticeably thinner frame, sharing a comprehensive health update via social media. The Only Way Is Essex star confirmed she has lost a significant two stone in weight but is now actively working with a health coach to regain it in a healthy manner.
Addressing the Concern Head-On
On Friday, 14 November, Amy took to Instagram to post a photograph that clearly displayed her recent physical transformation. In the image, she wore a green sports bra and black leggings that highlighted her slender legs. Accompanying the post was a candid caption where she expressed feeling compelled to address the situation directly. She wrote that she wanted to be open with her followers about the comments she had been receiving regarding her weight.
For the past several months, Amy has been collaborating closely with health and physique coach Jon Kirk to focus intensely on her nutrition. She explained that after initially losing a substantial amount of weight, she came to the realisation that she needed to properly understand how to eat correctly and choose the right foods for her body.
The Path to Healthy Weight Gain and Self-Love
Amy was frank about the challenges, admitting the process has been tough. However, she shared the positive news that she has started to gain a healthy amount of weight back, though she acknowledges there is still a little way to go. Her new regimen includes regular gym sessions with a focus on weight training, aiming to build a more toned physique.
In addition to her fitness and nutrition plan, the mother-of-four revealed she has been having weekly body treatments at 3DAesthetics UK, a clinic specialising in non-surgical procedures. She promised her followers a more detailed reel about these treatments would be coming soon.
A Plea for Positivity and a Family-Focused Future
Concluding her heartfelt message, Amy made a direct appeal to her fans and followers. She urged people to refrain from leaving negative comments, emphasising that her transformation is not an overnight process. She described it as a journey to become her best self for her family.
Her followers heeded her request, flooding the comments section with supportive and uplifting messages. One fan wrote, Well done lovely, getting strong, while another added, So proud of you Amy, you look stunning. A third shared a personal story of their own weight struggle, writing, Keep going Amy you are doing amazing. I dropped to 4st after being unable to eat for a year... It took me 2 years to get to 7st. You got this.
This is not the first time Amy has spoken about her body confidence journey. Back in September, she shared details of a tummy-tightening treatment, explaining that having four children and dealing with life's stresses had taken a toll on her body. The 35-year-old star is engaged to partner Billy Delbosq, with whom she shares twins. The couple, who began dating in 2021, had to postpone their wedding this year but are now looking forward to tying the knot in 2026.
