Alison Hammond Reveals 11 Stone Weight Loss Secrets Without Jabs

Alison Hammond has shared details of her remarkable 11 stone weight loss journey, achieved without the use of weight-loss injections. The 50-year-old This Morning presenter credited her transformation to a tailored exercise programme with a personal trainer and a focus on moderation in her diet.

Speaking to Heat magazine, Hammond explained that her decision to lose weight came after the death of her mother Maria, who had previously expressed concerns about her daughter's pre-diabetic diagnosis. At her heaviest, Hammond weighed 28 stone.

Hammond described her fitness routine as flexible, saying: 'If I'm working, I don't train, I'll go for a walk. But when I'm at home, I'll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week.' She emphasised that her diet does not involve cutting out favourite foods entirely, but rather consuming them in moderation.

The presenter previously explained her reluctance to use weight-loss jabs, citing 'scary' stories she had heard. In a December interview with Good Housekeeping, she said: 'I think that, for people who need to use them, they're a good thing - but for me, as soon as I hear any scare story, I get frightened. So I haven't wanted to use them, but that's not to say I wouldn't in the future, and I certainly wouldn't look down on anyone who did.'

In her memoir, Hammond credited her mother for shaping her character, writing that Maria 'used to sing' and that the 'house would be filled with laughter'. She added that she learned from 'strong women looking after women, women teaching women'. Two years ago, Hammond spoke on Loose Women about her grief, revealing that the death of Queen Elizabeth II brought back painful memories of losing her mum.
