Jordan Brook, the 31-year-old star of The Only Way Is Essex, has been rushed to hospital after what he described as a 'scary few days' battling a mystery illness. His pregnant girlfriend, Sophie Kasaei, 36, has been steadfastly supporting him at his bedside during this worrying time.
Hospital Admission and Recovery
On Sunday evening, Jordan revealed that he was admitted to hospital over the weekend and is currently awaiting results from a CT scan and blood tests. He shared a selfie from his hospital bed, showing ECG sensor electrode stickers on his chest, alongside a caption that read: 'Update: admitted to hospital. Awaiting CT scan and blood results.'
Despite his health scare, the barber expressed concern for his clients, apologising via Instagram: 'Not the weekend I had planned. Again I'm sorry to all of my clients bare with me. I hate letting you down.'
Sophie Kasaei's Support
Sophie posted a snap of the couple in hospital, where she cradled her growing baby bump. She wrote: 'What a scary few days it's been seeing the person you love so ill. I'm so glad he's home and safe. Bump is growing and going to give daddy cuddles all night. Night world.'
She later informed fans that Jordan is now recovering at home in Essex, bringing relief after the ordeal.
Background on the Couple's Pregnancy Journey
This hospitalisation comes after the couple announced in December that they are expecting their first child together, following a challenging two-year fertility journey. The reality stars, who have been together since 2022, shared a sweet video on social media to reveal the happy news.
In the video, they hung a bauble on their Christmas tree that read: 'Merry Christmas Mummy and Daddy. See you in 2026.' It began with footage from last year, showing them wrapping a baby blanket and placing it under their tree, a nod to an old wives' tale hoping for a baby in 2025.
Gender Reveal Celebration
In January, the couple hosted a star-studded gender reveal at the Three Rivers Golf & Country Club in Cold Norton. They were joined by reality TV pals including James Argent, Lauren Goodger, and Charlotte Dawson. During the event, Sophie and Jordan revealed they are expecting a baby boy, looking happier than ever.
The video transitioned to the pair dressed elegantly, with Sophie in a glamorous figure-hugging red dress showcasing her baby bump and Jordan in a tuxedo, dancing by their Christmas tree.
As Jordan continues his recovery at home, the couple remains focused on their upcoming arrival, with Sophie's support proving crucial during this health scare.
