Kaleb Cooper has provided an update on Jeremy Clarkson's health following the television presenter's cancer diagnosis, which was revealed on the show Clarkson's Farm.
Cooper's Update on Clarkson's Condition
In the season finale, Clarkson, 66, informed Cooper of his diagnosis, leaving the farm manager visibly emotional. Clarkson stated he would be taking a break for a while, and the episode concluded with him receiving treatment in a hospital bed.
Cooper has now shared that Clarkson is recovering well. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Cooper said: 'The spirits are high, which is good.' He added: 'If anything like this happens to any of your friends and you just said to my best mate, you've gotta be supported through that whole journey. And that's where I've been, I've been right by his side and his spirits are really good, so thank you. He's strong-minded, he's got a strong mind on him, which is good.'
Importance of Early Detection
Cooper emphasized the significance of regular health checks, noting that 'catching anything early is quite important.' He urged people not to ignore symptoms, saying: 'That's the main thing, but you've gotta keep checking, you know what I mean, it's all these things, you know, people can sit there and say I'm busy, busy, busy. But actually sometimes you've gotta go I'm gonna just have to check and see if I'm okay.'
Support from Loved Ones
Clarkson's girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, also shared a photo of the former Top Gear star on the farm, where he was holding a long lens camera. She posted a screenshot of Clarkson sharing his diagnosis on the Amazon Prime show, captioning it: 'Thank you for all your support today,' and tagging Prostate Cancer UK.
