Ranvir Singh Criticised for Interrupting Guests on GMB While Covering for Kate Garraway

Ranvir Singh has faced criticism from viewers after interrupting guests during her stint as stand-in host on Good Morning Britain (GMB) on Thursday. The 46-year-old broadcaster filled in for Kate Garraway, who is absent due to her husband Derek Draper's critical health condition.

During an interview with Clare Balding, viewers took to social media to express frustration, with some joking that Singh appeared to be 'interviewing herself'. One user posted: 'Is Ranvir interviewing herself?' while another added: 'Someone needs to tell Ranvir to let the guests speak fgs!'

Singh had announced on Wednesday that she would be covering for Garraway, after previously standing in for Lorraine Kelly. Meanwhile, Garraway is reportedly maintaining a 24/7 vigil at her husband's bedside following a heart attack. Derek Draper, 56, has been battling long-term health issues since contracting COVID-19 in 2020, including kidney failure, brain inflammation, and liver damage.

A source told The Sun that Draper had been 'in great spirits' and looking forward to Christmas before the sudden setback. Garraway recently described the family as 'adjusting to a new normal' and expressed hope for improvement in her husband's condition.
