Donald Trump's health has come under renewed scrutiny after a medical expert claimed the president's vanishing eye whites and dozing off during a press conference indicate dementia and stimulant use.
Expert Assessment
Dr Adam James, an expert physical therapist specializing in geriatric care, assessed footage of the Commander in Chief falling asleep during a press conference at the Oval Office. Photos from the briefing, which also featured Secretary of Health RFK Jr, showed the whites of Trump's eyes had retreated deep into the corner, almost under his eyelids.
Dr James claimed: "President Donald J. Slump could barely stay awake during a press conference in his own God damn office because he has dementia and he is sundowning. The whites of his eyes have disappeared because he is high as a kite on some sort of stimulant – Adderall or Provigil, who knows. His dementia has progressed to the point where the most gravely, brain numbing sound which is RFK's voice cannot rouse him awake."
Dementia Symptoms
The medical expert also alleged in an Instagram video to his millions of followers: "Clinically speaking, these are all dementia symptoms. He is sundowning. His brain is disconnecting from a typical sleep-wake day-night circadian rhythm because a structure called the suprachiasmatic nucleus is atrophying or breaking down. This is the structure of your brain that houses the master clock or your internal sense of day-night sleep-wake cycles."
Dr James added: "This is not about him being fatigued. Although that is in play. This is about somebody's brain dissolving inside of their skull. It would be a shame if he had the nuclear codes."
Stimulant Tolerance
He further explained: "On top of that, his stimulant usage over decades has caused tolerance in his body. So now the stimulants can't even keep him awake at the moments he really needs to be awake like on camera in front of the press. His dementia and brain atrophy have developed to the point that it could happen any day now."
Previously, Trump faced claims he "poos himself so much you can smell him around the corner." At Lyndsey Graham's funeral, a clip of Trump allegedly appearing to soil himself as a member of the secret service grimaced went viral.
