Tina Malone Opens Up About Grief and Faith After Husband's Suicide

Actress Tina Malone has spoken candidly about the death of her husband, Paul Chase, who took his own life last year at the age of 41. In a recent podcast interview, the 62-year-old revealed that her Catholic faith has been a source of comfort, and she looks forward to being reunited with him in death.

Malone, best known for her role in the TV series 'Shameless', said on Best magazine's 'Suddenly Single' podcast: 'I relish the thought of dying, which I know that sounds kind of crazy.' She added that if it were not for their 11-year-old daughter Flame, she would not be here now.

The actress, who also has an older daughter from a previous relationship, said she has to be strong for Flame and ensure she fulfils everything in life. Malone described her faith as providing comfort, and said her priest allows her to get angry and emotional, and to question things.
