The shows affected are in Spokane on April 30, now moved to May 31, and in Seattle on May 1, rescheduled for June 2. Rimes did not specify the nature of her illness but has previously spoken about health issues including jaw tension linked to perimenopause.
In a recent social media post, the star underwent a deep jaw release procedure to address tension she described as 'incredible'. She has been open about her struggles with perimenopause and psoriasis, and has spoken about the importance of finding the right doctors to help her through these changes.
Rimes, who married actor Eddie Cibrian in 2011, recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary with a trip to Cabo San Lucas. She acknowledged 'very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family' but said the couple know how to 'ride the waves' together.
