Jules Hudson Shares Sad Family Illness Update

Escape to the Country presenter Jules Hudson has shared sad news with his followers, revealing a family member's sudden and serious illness. The 56-year-old property expert, a familiar face on the BBC daytime programme, took to Instagram to announce he would be unable to attend an event scheduled for this Friday in Monmouth, Wales.

Postponed Event Due to Family Emergency

In a social media post, Jules wrote: 'It's with huge regret that owing to a sudden and serious family illness we've had to postpone my evening this Friday at the Blake Theatre in Monmouth.' He assured ticket holders that refunds are available and a new date has been set for Saturday, 12th September. 'It's hugely disappointing to have to change plans, but I hope you'll understand on this occasion, and hopefully we can all get together in a few short months,' he added.

Jules also shared a video message filmed on the banks of the River Deben in Suffolk. In the clip, he explained: 'Due to a sudden and unexpected family illness, I've had to postpone the little get-together that we had planned for this Friday night at the Blake Theatre in Monmouth.' He confirmed the new date and expressed hope that fans could still join him then. 'I'm sure you all appreciate there are some times when family comes first, and this is one of those moments,' he said.
