Hollyoaks star Jessamy Stoddart has announced the birth of her second child, just days after fans saw her character exit the soap. The 32-year-old actress, who plays Liberty Savage, has taken a break from the show and shared the joyful news on Monday.

Jessamy revealed she had welcomed a daughter with her husband Ryan. She posted radiant photos of herself cradling the newborn, with the caption: "She's here. All 9lb 6 of her. I got the VBAC water birth of my dreams & it was EUPHORIC. I feel like I won the midwife lottery & had the unwavering support of Ryan, as always. Floating on clouds right now with my two little ladies."
Fans and friends quickly congratulated the couple. One wrote: "Ahhh how beautiful you both look, congratulations. I'm so happy for you all. I hope you are all keeping well. Family Life
Jessamy and Ryan, who married in 2021, are already parents to a daughter named Joni, born in 2023. The soap star first announced her second pregnancy in December, debuting her growing bump on Instagram with the words: "So incredibly lucky to be growing a little brother or sister for Joni." She also shared a photo of a Christmas bauble engraved with "Baby O'Gorman. Due May 2026."
Jessamy welcomed Joni in January 2023 and opened up about the difficult journey to becoming parents. Introducing her daughter, she wrote: "Our little girl Joni Drew O'Gorman 04/01/2023 8lb4. After every storm comes a rainbow and this rainbow came on the anniversary of us first finding out we were pregnant. We are besotted."
Wedding
The couple married in November 2021 at Iscoyd Park in North Wales. Jessamy wore an elegant ivory high neck bridal gown with puff semi-sheer sleeves, while Ryan looked dapper in a black suit. The winter wonderland wedding included romantic photos in the snow.

Jessamy's character Liberty has faced several challenging storylines, including giving birth to baby Faith and experiencing postpartum psychosis.
