Alix Earle, the 25-year-old model and influencer often seen at VIP events and on catwalks, has shared the darker reality behind her glamorous social media posts. In a candid TikTok video, she admitted to struggling with the constant scrutiny and negativity online.
Panic attack on a plane
Earle revealed that the pressure reached a peak recently when she had a panic attack during a flight. She said: “I was on the plane and I had a panic attack.” The influencer explained that she had been taking time away from social media because she was “getting into not the best place.”
Negativity 'felt more negative'
While Earle has faced online criticism for years, she confessed that “it’s felt more negative” in recent months. She added: “Obviously, it’s gonna get to you or make you overthink when you’re constantly reading about what you’re doing, the way you look, who you’re hanging out with, what you’re saying.”
The influencer spoke about how the negativity can lead to her “hating” herself, but she chose to be honest with her followers instead of hiding her struggles. She has since spent time with friends in Miami, taking a break from vlogging.

Her TikTok video garnered 1.6 million views and hundreds of supportive comments.
