Specialist Tactical Aid Unit (TAU) officers were among those who responded, and the air ambulance landed on the grounds of nearby Littlemoor Primary School. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed they were responding to a concern for a person's welfare. The Manchester Evening News understands that someone was suffering from a suspected mental health episode.
Witness Accounts
An eyewitness reported that someone appeared to be taken away in an ambulance. The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) confirmed they attended an incident at a private address but declined to provide further details. It was confirmed that the incident was completely unrelated to the school.
