Radio and TV presenter Vick Hope has given fans a heartwarming glimpse into her family's festive celebrations, posting a series of rare and intimate photographs on Instagram. The star, 36, shared moments from her first Christmas as a mother with her husband, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, 41, and their five-month-old son, Micah.
A Festive Family Debut
In a carousel of images posted on Friday, the new mother radiated joy, showcasing a blend of cosy family moments and elegant festive outings. One standout photo featured Vick looking happier than ever in a stunning metallic gold tweed dress, her hair styled in a sleek low ponytail complemented by gold statement earrings, as she enjoyed a Christmas dinner.
The caption, ‘Twas the season✨, perfectly captured the milestone of celebrating their first holiday season as a family of three. Among the tender snaps was a picture of Vick in matching pyjamas with baby Micah resting peacefully on her chest.
Adorable Baby Moments & Stylish Dad
The album was a treasure trove of adorable moments featuring little Micah. He was pictured in a cream babygrow emblazoned with the words 'my first Christmas', and shared a sweet moment at the table sitting next to his father in his baby chair.
Calvin Harris also featured prominently, seen carrying a freshly purchased Christmas tree. The DJ looked dapper in a navy and green chequered fleece jacket, a khaki baseball cap, brown baggy trousers, and white Nike trainers. Further heartwarming images showed Micah bonding with his grandmother, Adeline Nowosu, the pair wearing matching Christmas pyjamas as she held him lovingly in her arms.
Micah's festive wardrobe was a highlight, featuring several themed outfits including:
- A brown and white dotted onesie with a fruitcake beanie.
- An adorable red Christmas onesie as he lay on the floor.
- A green striped babygrow while being held aloft by his beaming grandmother.
Balancing Motherhood & Celebrations
Vick Hope appears to be navigating new motherhood with grace, also sharing snaps from a festive night out with friends, including fellow presenter AJ Odudu, where she dazzled in the same gold dress. The couple had announced the arrival of their son in August, following his birth on July 20.
Vick opted for a home water birth at their property in Ibiza, where she had flown after beginning her maternity leave. Calvin marked the occasion with a candid social media post, sharing a photograph of Vick in the birthing pool and a tender shot of himself with the newborn.
His accompanying message read: '20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.' The post also included a graphic photograph of Vick's placenta, which was later processed into pills—a practice known as placentophagy.
Some believe consuming the placenta can offer postpartum benefits, such as preventing depression or boosting energy, though it is important to note that there is no scientific evidence to support these health claims.
