Former Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei, 35, and her partner Jordan Brook, 30, have shared an update on their fertility journey, revealing they are trying a new treatment after a devastating chemical pregnancy last year. Speaking at the National Television Awards, the couple said they remain hopeful despite the challenges.
Sophie, who has been praised for her openness, said: 'I'm not going to give up my dreams of having a little bump.' The pair have begun Lymphocyte Immunisation Therapy (LIT), a treatment that analyses the immune system and administers appropriate therapy, according to The Fertility and Gynaecology Academy.
The couple, who wore matching outfits to the awards, discussed their Christmas plans. Jordan said they will spend it abroad for the first time in a long time, adding: 'I don't care where we are in the world or what we're doing, just as long as that happens.' Sophie added: 'Our dream is just to wake up on Christmas Day and just have a little bump.'
Sophie encouraged others to communicate, saying: 'You've got to open up and you've got to converse and talk to one another. It's so important to explain how you're feeling.' Jordan urged men to speak out about fertility struggles, noting many feel 'they don't feel man enough' if they can't conceive.
The couple first shared their fertility battles last September, after Sophie had endometriosis surgery. Their candid updates have inspired thousands of fans, making them one of reality TV's most relatable couples.
