Model and fashion entrepreneur Sofia Richie has delighted her fans by revealing the gender of her second child during an opulent baby shower over the weekend.
A Luxurious 'Grainge Club' Celebration
The 27-year-old expectant mother, who is married to music executive Elliott Grainge, 32, celebrated her pregnancy with a lavish country club-themed brunch. The event, dubbed 'The Grainge Club', was organised by interior designer and event planner David Samuel Ko.
Richie, the daughter of music icon Lionel Richie, shared glimpses of the celebration with her 11 million Instagram followers via her Stories. The key reveal came in a photo of her place setting, which she captioned: 'Celebrating Eloise's soon to be brother,' accompanied by a blue heart emoji.
This confirms the couple are expecting a baby boy to join their family. Their first child, daughter Eloise, will celebrate her second birthday in May.

For the special occasion, Sofia Richie was dressed in a stylish, silky butter-yellow co-ord set with a pajama-inspired design. She completed the look with a long, patterned gold coat featuring brown trim. Her signature blonde bob was styled with a centre parting and flipped ends.
The baby shower comes just months after Richie publicly announced her pregnancy in mid-October. She shared the news with a mirror selfie on Instagram, lifting her jacket to reveal her baby bump.
Her caption at the time also served to promote her new business venture, writing: 'On my way to launch these babies + @srgatelier.' This referred to the debut collection of her clothing brand, SRG Atelier.

'I studied these brilliant minds, and I just watched and observed, but mainly I discovered myself throughout the process, and now I'm in a space where I feel really confident,' she explained.

Her husband, Elliott Grainge, who rarely uses social media, made a special exception to congratulate her on the brand launch. He posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, calling her his 'incredible wife' and praising her dedication.
The couple's mutual admiration was further showcased when Richie celebrated Grainge's 31st birthday in early November, calling him her 'best friend and soul mate' and 'the best dad and husband I could ever dream of.'
