Former Home and Away star Isabel Lucas has given birth to a baby boy, her first child with American director Cyrus Sutton. The 40-year-old Australian actress announced the news on social media, sharing a sweet photo of the newborn alongside a pregnancy photoshoot on the beach.
Lucas and Sutton, who went Instagram official earlier this year, revealed the pregnancy in October. In their announcement, they wrote: 'Angels everywhere… In the signs and synchronicities, intuitive whispers… Thank you to our bright little son, we love you all way.' The couple have not yet disclosed the baby's name.
Fans and friends congratulated the new parents, with one commenting: 'We love you so much king and queen and little prince.' Lucas is best known for playing Tasha Andrews on Home and Away for three years, and has also appeared in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and the MacGyver reboot.
After leaving the soap, Lucas became an activist against whaling and dolphin culling in Japan, and now serves as a spokeswoman for the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2023, she spoke about her decision not to receive the Covid-19 vaccine, telling Stellar magazine: 'Our relationship with our body is very personal… The diversity of choice is yet to be included.'
