Shaughna Phillips Welcomes Second Daughter Amid Partner's Prison Release
Shaughna Phillips welcomes baby girl after partner's release

Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has shared an intimate glimpse into her family life following the arrival of her second daughter, a event made particularly poignant by the presence of her partner Billy Webb, who was recently released from prison.

A New Chapter Begins

The reality television personality, who boasts one million Instagram followers, posted a carousel of photographs documenting the birth of her daughter Sofia Phillips-Webb on 31st October 2025. The newborn weighed 7lb 4oz and has already become an integral part of the family.

Capturing the emotional journey, Shaughna wrote: 'A bubble I hope never bursts... Lucia & Sofia, the most important thing we’ll ever give you both is each other.' The images showcased her growing family united at the hospital, featuring their two-year-old daughter Lucia alongside the new baby's pram.

The Birth Experience

Shaughna documented her hospital experience in detail, sharing pictures of herself in a hospital gown showcasing her baby bump. She was later photographed reclining on the delivery table with newborn Sofia while Billy, dressed in medical scrubs, held her hand throughout the procedure.

In a subsequent post, the 31-year-old revealed a touching detail about the birth, explaining that her daughter was born to the music of Westlife. 'Hoping the fact you were born to a Westlife song means you will be connected to your Irish roots,' she expressed, while also celebrating female strength: 'I will never not be shocked at what the woman’s body can do! We are bloody majestic superheroes if I do say so myself.'

The new mother described the experience as 'the dreamiest experience for our perfect girl,' adding that Sofia has 'completed us in ways I didn't even know was possible.'

A Family Reunited

The birth held special significance as Shaughna's partner Billy was able to be present, marking a dramatic change from their first child's birth. Billy had been serving a nine-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000 in 2023.

However, in a surprising development, Billy was released last month after serving only twelve months of his sentence from a Category D prison, which allows day releases for low-risk inmates. Shaughna had previously revealed in November that the family had reunited to enjoy a Christmas grotto together.

The mother-of-two had been openly anticipating having 'someone there' for this birth, contrasting with Billy's absence during the early moments with their first daughter Lucia. 'He definitely wanted another one,' Shaughna shared before the birth. 'He didn't get that newborn experience with Lucia, and I think that's what he really wanted.'

Despite the challenging circumstances of Billy's incarceration, the couple managed to conceive their second child. Shaughna had been candid about their situation, stating: 'We definitely wouldn't have tried for this baby if he wasn't going to be here.'

Since her arrival, baby Sofia has already embarked on several family outings, including obtaining her birth certificate and meeting her grandmother - Shaughna's mother Tracy. The newborn's integration into family life appears to be progressing smoothly as the Phillips-Webb family embraces this new chapter together.
