Shane Richie Jr, the son of television personalities Coleen Nolan and Shane Richie, has announced the birth of his son in an emotional social media post. The 29-year-old shared that his girlfriend Kimberley gave birth to their baby boy in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The newborn, named Cruz-Carter, entered the world at 3am on 13th November 2025, weighing 6 pounds and 6 ounces. Shane took to Instagram to share the joyful news with his followers, posting a sweet photograph of his newborn son alongside a touching caption that expressed his overwhelming emotions.
"Welcome to this crazy world my son," Shane wrote. "Words can't express the love I have for you already. I literally can't stop staring at you." The new father didn't forget to praise Kimberley either, adding: "As for you @kimberley.s.6, you are the strongest, bravest woman I know. Thank you for giving me a son, I can't wait to go through this journey together as a family. I love you."

This marks Shane's second time becoming a father, having previously welcomed a daughter with former partner Emma Kivell in 2016.
