Desperate Search for Missing Pregnant Teenager
Police have launched a major search operation for a heavily pregnant 17-year-old, Kacey-Rae, who vanished on Sunday, November 23. There are significant fears for her welfare and that of her unborn baby, which is due next month. She is believed to be with another 17-year-old, known as George, who is also reported missing.
Haunting Online Clues Before Disappearance
Weeks before her disappearance, a Facebook post by Kacey-Rae from October 11 has taken on a concerning new light. In what appeared to be an act of kindness, she offered to give away all of her clothes for free. She wrote on the social media platform, "Anyone know anyone or is in need of clothes... They aren’t the best and aren’t immaculate but would definitely help someone in need out." While this could be interpreted as charitable or nesting behaviour common in pregnancy, it now stands as one of her last public actions before she went missing.
According to her Facebook profile, Kacey-Rae announced her pregnancy on May 28 with a picture of a positive test and a babygro featuring her ultrasound image. On September 30, she also announced her engagement to a boy named Jordan Follows.
Timeline of Last Known Movements
Gloucestershire Constabulary has pieced together a timeline of the pair's final confirmed movements. They were last seen together on Sunday, November 23, at 5:30 pm in Kings Square, Gloucester city centre. Their last confirmed sighting was later that same day at 8:00 pm at Gloucester train station.
Kacey-Rae is originally from Walsall but currently lives in Cinderford, Forest of Dean. It is believed she and George, who is from Wolverhampton, were attempting to travel back to the West Midlands.
Officers are scouring CCTV and have issued an urgent public appeal. A police spokesperson stated, "Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Kacey-Rae's welfare. She is heavily pregnant... enquiries are ongoing to locate them."
Kacey-Rae is described as 5ft 6ins tall with brown hair that has red dye in it, worn on top of her head. When last seen, she was wearing a pink hoodie, a black coat with a fur hood, and grey, flared leggings.
George is described as around 6ft tall, of a large build, with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a blue McKenzie tracksuit. The public is urged to share any information with Gloucestershire Constabulary.
