Former Emmerdale and Coronation Street star Paula Lane has given fans a glimpse into her life days after welcoming her third child, a baby son named Patrick. The actress, who played Ella Forster on Emmerdale and Kylie Platt on Corrie, shared a series of photos on Instagram documenting the past 10 days.
The images included sweet moments with newborn Patrick, as well as scenes of feeding, cuddles, playing Monopoly and gentle dog walks. Lane captioned the post: “The past 10 days of you. My lucky little charm. Lots of feeding, cuddles, Monopoly and gentle dog walks. Soaking up every second.”
Lane and her husband Tom Shaw are already parents to Arthur, born in 2014, and Penny, born in 2016. She announced Patrick's birth earlier this month with a heartfelt Instagram post, writing: “Welcome to the ranch Patrick. We are all completely and utterly in love... So longed for...thank you for completing us.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments with congratulations and well-wishes. One wrote: “Congratulations and well done. Make the most of every moment xx.” Another said: “So beautiful to see you and your beautiful baby so happy for you and your family.”
Lane, who left Emmerdale last year, is best known for her role as Kylie Platt on Coronation Street, a character who was killed off in 2016.
