In a lengthy and candid Instagram post looking back on 2025, Roberts, who turned 40 last year, disclosed that she experienced three life-changing events within a mere fortnight last October. She opened in her first lead West End role, discovered she was pregnant with her first child, and celebrated her 40th birthday. The singer described the period as a "whirlwind," admitting she was barely able to acknowledge her milestone birthday at the time due to overwhelming nausea.
"2025 has been full of surprises but I’m exactly where I wished I’d be," Roberts wrote, expressing contentment with her personal journey. She posted photos from a lavish birthday celebration, calling it her "favourite thing to have everyone I love in the one room."

Pregnancy Announcement and Relationship Timeline
Roberts formally announced her pregnancy just before the New Year, revealing she and fiancé Mitch Hahn are five months along and expecting their child in the spring. The news came after they shared it with their families on Christmas Day.
The couple, who confirmed their relationship in June 2022 at an Elton John concert, got engaged last year. It is believed Hahn proposed during a holiday in the South of France, with Roberts first spotted wearing her engagement ring during Girls Aloud's final performance at Brighton Pride.
