Laura Tott, one of the original stars of First Dates, has given birth to her second child, a baby girl named Lucy. The 31-year-old reality TV star shared the news on social media, posting an adorable snap of her newborn daughter fast asleep with the caption: 'Lucy Clarke, you are magic.'
Tott, who is already mother to a two-year-old son named Leo, also shared a video of her son meeting his baby sister for the first time at Tameside Hospital. In the post, she described her dramatic labour experience, revealing that she initially mistook her waters leaking for a pelvic floor issue. 'I rang maternity triage a few times but kept hanging up before they answered, just in case. I was literally just wetting myself,' she wrote.
She went on to thank the hospital staff for their help, saying: 'And then things really ramped up, and our beautiful Lucy made her dramatic entrance shortly after. Thank you to every member of staff that helped us at Tameside hospital. Feel so unbelievably lucky and grateful, you were all incredible.'
Fans and former co-stars were quick to congratulate her, with First Dates co-star Fred Sirieux posting a heart emoji. One follower commented: 'What a beautiful moment and you’ve captured it perfectly! Congratulations to you both from Melbourne, Australia.'
Tott had previously revealed that she suffered from gestational diabetes during her pregnancy, which she also experienced with her first child. She quit First Dates in 2021 to train as a paramedic, and married her partner a year later, welcoming son Leo.
