Media personality Kelsey Parker was spotted enjoying a festive family day out at Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park with her boyfriend, Will Lindsay, and her two children. The 34-year-old appeared in good spirits as she took her daughter Aurelia, six, and son Bodhi, four, on the spinning cups ride.
A Day of Family Fun
For the outing, Kelsey wrapped up warm in a stylish white padded coat and matching beanie. She complemented her winter outfit with a grey jumper and a pair of sunglasses, embracing the festive atmosphere with her family by her side.
The children, Aurelia and Bodhi, were shared with her late husband, Tom Parker, the singer from the band The Wanted. Tom tragically died from a brain tumour in March 2022 at the age of 33.
Finding Love and Facing Heartbreak
Kelsey found love with her current partner, Will Lindsay, two years after Tom's passing. The couple later fell pregnant, but in a devastating turn of events, their baby boy, Phoenix, was tragically stillborn in June of this year.
Despite this profound loss, Kelsey has recently opened up about her desire to expand their family. Speaking on the Mum's The Word podcast with Georgia Jones, she revealed, 'I would love to have another baby. It's not made me not want to have another baby. I think more its probably made me want a baby even more.'
Navigating Grief and Public Scrutiny
Kelsey also shared her regret about hiding her pregnancy with Phoenix due to fears of public judgment. 'I feel like I hid a lot because I was so worried about what people actually thought about me,' she confessed, adding that she now feels 'upset with herself' for letting other people's opinions affect her.
She emphasised that her partner, Will, who does not have children of his own, adores her children and has a wonderful relationship with them. 'But Will does want children of his own? If we can, then we will continue to try for a baby,' she stated.
The family's recent outing comes as reports suggest Kelsey is 'struggling' to help her children navigate the grief of losing their baby brother, a process that has also reignited the pain of losing their father, Tom. A source close to the family said, 'The grief of losing the baby has brought back the grief of losing Tom.'
Despite the immense sorrow, Kelsey is said to find solace in the belief that her late husband is 'up there, looking after baby Phoenix.' The source added, 'She's dealing with such a lot,' highlighting the immense weight of public grief the family is enduring.
