Holly Swinburn, the pregnant ex-girlfriend of television personality Freddy Brazier, has shared that she is expecting a baby girl and revealed the couple's touching plan to honour Freddy's late mother, reality star Jade Goody.
A Tribute in a Name
In an exclusive interview, the 22-year-old confirmed she is due to give birth at the end of March. Despite splitting from Freddy, 21, in November, the former couple have discussed using the name Jade as a middle name for their daughter. Holly expressed her excitement about having a girl and her openness to using Jade as a first name, but understood Freddy's concerns about the potential pressure it might bring.
Jade Goody died from cervical cancer in 2009 at the age of 27, when Freddy was just four years old. Holly stated that she loves the first name Isla and believes using Jade as a middle name would be a "nice way" to honour his mother's memory. She also shared ultrasound pictures and confirmed that Freddy has attended scans with her.
Reasons Behind the Split
Holly spoke candidly about ending her relationship with Freddy Brazier. She claimed she discovered he had hosted gatherings with girls and smoked cannabis in her home while she was on a pre-booked family holiday. Holly said she had trusted him with her flat and her dog, Pablo, but learned the pet was left alone for long periods and people were brought into her home without permission.
She described receiving a message from Freddy at 3am with a picture of five people, including two girls, where he admitted to smoking weed with them in her flat. After neighbours complained about noise, Holly felt she could no longer continue the relationship.
Moving Forward as Co-Parents
Despite the split, Holly revealed that Freddy's father, Jeff Brazier, 46, has been a "big help" and "very generous" in encouraging the former couple to prepare for parenthood. She emphasised her desire to focus on the future and their unborn child.
Freddy Brazier's representatives have stated they are aware of the claims but have chosen not to address them at this time, adding that Freddy remains committed to making the right decisions for the wellbeing of everyone involved, especially the expected child.
