Reality television star turned campaigner Georgia Harrison has described feeling like a "totally different woman" as she embraces motherhood and looks ahead to 2026. In an exclusive new interview and photoshoot, the former Love Island contestant, 30, and her partner Jack Stacey, 33, open up about life with their newborn daughter, Sahara Jean.
A New Chapter as a Family of Three
Georgia and Jack welcomed their baby girl, weighing 6lb 7oz, on 30 October at Whipps Cross Hospital in East London, a week earlier than expected. "I fell in love with Sahara straight away," Georgia confesses, with Jack adding they were both in tears at her arrival. The couple, who went public with their romance in January after meeting on a dating app, had chosen to keep the baby's sex a surprise.
"We wanted her to have a really different name and it seemed perfect," Georgia explains of their choice. "Sahara derives from Arabic and can mean free spirit, and that's just very much her." The new parents say the experience has brought them closer together. "You really do look at your partner in a completely different way once they've been by your side during childbirth," Georgia reflects.
An MBE, a Curtsy, and a New Purpose
In a remarkable twist of timing, Sahara's birth came just days after Georgia received an MBE from Prince William at Windsor Castle for her services to tackling online privacy and cybercrime awareness. The campaigner, who waived her anonymity after a sex tape was shared online, is seen as instrumental in making revenge porn a criminal offence.
She jokes she was "trying not to give birth at Windsor Castle" during the ceremony, where she shared a memorable moment with the future King. "I ended up doing an over-the-top theatrical curtsy, and almost hit the deck," she laughs. "William cracked up." Becoming a mother to Sahara has only strengthened her resolve. "It definitely makes me more passionate to think the work I do is helping make the world a safer place for her," she states.
Navigating Parenthood and Looking Ahead
At home in Essex, the couple are navigating the challenges and joys of new parenthood. While Georgia is breastfeeding, Jack has embraced nappy duty. "It's my favourite thing to do... I don't even mind the really bad nappies. The bigger, the better," he says. They enjoyed a full family Christmas, which Jack describes as "the most Christmassy Christmas of all time," complete with a novelty gift for Sahara: "a little Santa that farts out bubbles."
Their immediate plans involve a holiday to Dubai for some winter sun, with grandparents joining to help with babysitting. "We might be able to have some fun and get ourselves down to the pool bar," Georgia smiles. Looking further ahead, the couple hope to give Sahara a sibling one day, but not immediately. "I'd also like to not be pregnant for a year," Georgia notes.
Despite facing some online "mum-shaming," Georgia is taking it in her stride. "As a first-time mum I'm still learning and if I'm doing something wrong I'll change it. Nobody's perfect." With the support of family and showbiz friends like Olivia Attwood, the family of three is striding confidently into the new year.
