Strictly Come Dancing star Annabel Croft has announced she has become a grandmother for the first time. The former tennis player, 59, shared the news on Instagram on October 26, posting photos of herself cradling her newborn grandson.
Croft's eldest daughter, Amber, 31, gave birth to a baby boy named Arlo William Melvyn Llewellyn on September 16. The baby's middle names pay tribute to Croft's late husband, Mel Coleman, who died in May 2023 from colon cancer.
In her Instagram post, Croft wrote: 'Officially a granny. My new name in the fam is grannabel xxx hope you've all had a wonderful weekend.' She also described herself as 'besotted' with her grandson, calling him 'completely adorable'.
Croft, who appeared on Strictly in 2023, has three children: Amber, Charlie, 29, and Lily, 27. She was married to Coleman for 30 years before his death. The baby news comes months after her son Charlie married Honour Wainwright in August.
