Jasmine Harman Returns to Work After Hernia Surgery

Channel 4 presenter Jasmine Harman has returned to work after taking a short break to recover from a hernia operation. The 50-year-old A Place in the Sun host shared a series of sun-drenched photos from Corfu, Greece, confirming she was back filming the popular property programme.

In a social media post, she wrote: 'My first full shift back at work! Bit of a treck to get here but definitely warming up to Corfu!' She also asked fans for recommendations on hidden gems to explore on the island.

Her return comes two weeks after she revealed she had undergone surgery. In a video message, Harman said: 'I'm recovering from surgery, I had to have a small surgical procedure, nothing serious, just a little hernia operation. But I've got a couple of weeks off work.' She added that the procedure had 'knocked the wind out of her sails' and that she planned to take things easy.

Fans flooded her with messages of support, with one writing: 'Take care and get well soon. Kindest regards from Scotland.' Another said: 'Delighted it went well, a hernia can be very painful, get yourself a good book and put your feet up for a few days.'

Harman admitted she partly welcomed the rest but also felt 'useless' at times. She added: 'I am looking forward to going back to work actually, but I'm not looking forward to having to leave my family.'
