Desiree Golling, a 34-year-old woman originally from Liverpool, who died suddenly while living in Dubai, has returned to Merseyside where she will be laid to rest. Her funeral is scheduled for July 6, 2026.
Funeral Details Announced
Richard and Shannon Jenkins Funeral Directors, based on Allerton Road, shared the funeral arrangements. The service will take place at St Mary's Church, Church Road, Woolton, Liverpool, L25 5JF, on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1:15 PM, followed by cremation at Springwood Crematorium, Rosemary Chapel, Springwood Avenue, Liverpool, L25 7UN, at 2:30 PM. Family flowers only are requested, and donations in memory of Desiree may be made to KIND via their website.
Tributes from Family
Desiree's mother, Paula Golling from Halewood, paid tribute on Facebook, saying: "Doing life without you babe doesn’t seem real I am going to miss our voice notes where you say 'hi mum, just checking in'. You was the most inspirational person, everyone loved you babe, how my heart aches right now. I will see your beautiful face soon, goodnight my sweet Desi."
Her cousin Amber Harrison, a star of the ITV sitcom G'Wed, wrote on Instagram: "Our beautiful big cousin Desiree. Loved by so many, you will be missed. Our family will never be the same without you. Our queen of Dubai. I hope you are in a much better place you beautiful soul."
Another cousin, Autumn Harrison, added: "Our gorgeous Desiree, my big cousin and best friend. Your beautiful soul shined right through you, absolutely stunning from the inside out. Yours was the warmest heart and the kind of energy that made anyone around you drawn to you... I promise to be there for your mum Jas & Luna. I love you forever & always angel girl. One in a million."
Life in Dubai
Desiree had moved to the United Arab Emirates from Liverpool years before her death. According to her LinkedIn profile, she worked as a business consultant at Property Finder in the Middle Eastern country, having previously worked in real estate and marketing.
The funeral directors stated: "Desiree will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all her loving family and friends."
