Shirley Ballas Sends Heartfelt Message to Ellie Goldstein After Strictly Exit

Shirley Ballas has joined a wave of support for Ellie Goldstein following the model and actress's exit from Strictly Come Dancing. Goldstein, who was partnered with Vito Coppola, became the fifth contestant to leave the BBC show after losing a dance-off to Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

Despite her departure, Ballas took to Instagram to praise Goldstein, sharing a photo from Halloween week. The head judge wrote: 'Ellie, how beautiful to have had you on our show for six wonderful weeks… You have been dedicated to giving it your very best, your musicality is simply breathtaking and your power and energy is spectacular.'

Ballas added: 'Vito said it best, we were blessed to witness an angel grace our show. Thank you for sharing your love with us. I feel privileged to have watched you grow each week. This partnership will always hold a place in my heart.'

Fellow contestants also voiced their admiration. Amber Davies described Goldstein as 'a ray of sunshine' and 'a little sister', while Amy Dowden and Dianne Buswell shared emotional posts. Goldstein and Coppola had shown significant improvement throughout the competition.

Meanwhile, Balvinder Sopal, who survived the dance-off, expressed relief after what she called a 'difficult week'. Her partner Julian Caillon praised her growth, calling their rumba their 'favourite dance yet'. The show continues without Goldstein and Coppola, who were popular with viewers.
