Reality star and media personality Katie Price has shared a heartfelt health update concerning her eldest son, Harvey, and outlined her determined plans to help him get "fit" and "healthy" in the coming year.
A Mother's New Year Resolution
In a candid new YouTube vlog posted on 10th January 2026, the 47-year-old former glamour model disclosed that her 23-year-old son now weighs "just under 30 stone". The video, filmed on New Year's Eve, shows Katie sitting with Harvey as she discusses their goals for the year ahead, focusing squarely on his wellbeing.
Katie Price has been open for years about the challenges Harvey faces due to his complex medical conditions, which include Prader-Willi syndrome. This rare genetic disorder leads to insatiable hunger and a lack of satiety, making severe weight gain a common and difficult-to-manage symptom.
The Plan: Medication, Gym and Lifestyle Changes
Price revealed a two-pronged strategy to support Harvey's health journey. Firstly, she confirmed plans for him to begin taking the weight-loss medication Mounjaro. Secondly, with Harvey set to move into a new flat just 15 minutes from her home, she vowed to enrol them both in a local gym.
"I'm joining you to a gym. Mummy might join a gym. And then we can go together," she is heard telling Harvey in the video. "Mummy get you personal trainer in the gym, you can do swimming there and a massage... And we'll get you fit."
Harvey responded enthusiastically to his mother's plans, agreeing with a cheerful "Oh yes Mum" and flexing his arms for the camera when she encouraged him to show his future muscles. The pair sealed their pact with a pinky promise, focusing on healthy eating and exercise.
Motivation and Future Hopes
Katie framed the fitness mission around a key incentive for Harvey: the ability to enjoy theme park rides. She told him their goal was to get healthy so he could "get on those rollercoasters for your birthday," a suggestion which prompted Harvey to request a trip on the Grand National roller coaster in Blackpool.
Reflecting on the annual promise, Katie added in the video, "You say this every year. And you're still just under 30 stone. But that's alright, we'll get it down a little bit, all for them rides."
In a later segment of the vlog, speaking directly to the camera, Katie emphasised that this was more than just a hope. "It's not a hope and it's not a dream because it's happening," she stated firmly. She expressed excitement about Harvey living closer and the opportunity to help him develop more independent skills, alongside exploring potential career ideas for him.
Katie, who recently split from partner JJ, also noted that she has already started making healthier choices for herself and her family as they head into the new year.
