Fernando, a mixed-breed rescue dog, is searching for a new home in the UK after being cruelly abused by a young boy who demanded money to give up the puppy he had hurt.
Fernando was just two months old when he was grabbed by the neck by a young man before being violently hurled to the ground. Appalled by the scene unfolding before her, his rescuer immediately confronted the boy and asked him to hand over the puppy. However, he demanded payment before agreeing to give Fernando up, so she handed over the money and whisked the terrified animal to safety.
Rescue and Recovery in Egypt
Fernando spent the next few months living with his rescuer in Egypt, where he received his vaccinations, was microchipped, treated for fleas and ticks and dewormed. He was also neutered once he reached the appropriate age.
After spending time in a home environment in Egypt, Fernando was transferred to boarding facilities, where he has been living peacefully alongside other dogs and cats.
Ready for a New Home in the UK
The handsome dog is now prepared to make the journey to Britain in search of a family willing to offer him the fresh start he truly deserves. While Fernando may display initial timidity, he is characterised as a delightful, energetic boy who forms excellent bonds with dogs, cats, adults and youngsters alike.
He will require a household with another canine companion, alongside a family who recognises that he remains youthful and will need guidance in developing fundamental life skills. Miracle's Mission is seeking an energetic household capable of providing Fernando with ample enrichment, stimulation and opportunities for play as he adjusts to his new surroundings.
