The sunflower trail at Mundles Farm in East Boldon has opened for the summer, allowing families to view the flowers up close. The attraction is open all week, from 10am to 5pm on weekdays and 11am to 6pm on weekends.
Entry and Pricing
Entry is priced at £2.50 for those over 12, while children under 12 go free. Visitors can also take a sunflower home for £1 per stem.
Food and Visitors
Over the weekend, the vendor Only Food Not Horses served wood-fired pizzas and loaded fries, and will remain on site throughout the week. On Monday morning, parents and children enjoyed the fields, with photos capturing their early August visits.
In a social media post, the organisers said: "The sunflowers are blossoming and we are opening! for the radio silence but unfortunately the harvest has come very very quickly!"
