When Is The Pitt Season 3 Coming Out?

HBO Max announced the renewal on Instagram with a video of cast members holding a number three balloon, captioned: "The work never stops (especially when renewed for Season 3). #ThePitt will return for Season 3 on HBO Max in 2027."
Season 3 is expected to feature another 15 episodes. It remains uncertain whether it will stream simultaneously on HBO Max UK and Ireland with the US release, though the UK launch of HBO Max raises hopes for simultaneous airing.
Executive producer and director John Wells told Deadline that filming would begin in June 2026, following the writers room convening in March 2026.
