The full flying and display programme for Southport Air Show 2026 has been confirmed. The Red Arrows make their return after a brief hiatus last year, with a long list of aircraft taking to the skies across the bank holiday weekend.
Event Details and Schedule
Southport Air Show returns to the coast on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30. The weekend hosts a range of activities for all ages including flight simulators and the opportunity to explore static aircraft and military vehicles. Gates open at 10am, with the displays starting approximately 12pm to 5pm.
Appearing on both days, the Red Arrows are a highlight for this weekend of aviation and family entertainment. Some displays will only appear on certain days, which will be determined when the timetable is published soon.
Confirmed Displays
The full list of confirmed displays includes: the Red Arrows, Typhoon, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire), Tutor, Richard Goodwin Jet Pitts, Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers, The Starlings, Strikemaster Pair, Gazelle Squadron, Hawk T1, Ottto Helicopter Day Pyro, A-26 Invader, and P-51 Mustang.
Ground Activities and Military Village
Between the flyovers, visitors can explore activities including bungee trampolines, bumper cars, and classic games like Hook a Duck. Aviation fans can get up close with replica planes and check out the Armed Forces' Military Village. Along Marine Drive, a wide selection of stalls feature military memorabilia, original artwork, tasty treats, and children's toys. Flight simulators offer a chance to feel what it is like to be in the cockpit.
The Military Village, located on Marine Drive, is home to equipment displays from the Armed Forces. Guests can meet members of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force, and learn about their roles and career opportunities. The local Air Cadets will be at the show, promoting and encouraging young people with an interest in aviation to join up.
Tickets
Tickets are available for both days, starting from £14.56 for a single day general admission. Family and group tickets are also available at better value prices, with children under 16 free to attend. Tickets can be purchased on the SeeTickets site.
