Her mother has faced serious health struggles in recent years, including a diagnosis of a life-threatening illness and torn ligaments that severely impacted her mobility. The family's move to Queensland is centred around providing crucial support during this difficult time.
Settling into a New Coastal Life
After the busy move, Rachael shared an update from their new Gold Coast home, showing the family settling in. "First night in our new home. It was busy yesterday, we spent all day unpacking," she told followers. She also expressed optimism about the future and eagerly asked her audience for local recommendations on everything from cafes and stores to the best beaches, promising to explore them all.

The relocation follows a major financial success for the couple. In October of the previous year, Rachael and Michael sold their luxurious Sydney penthouse for more than $3 million. They had originally purchased the three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment off the plan in 2014 for $1.64 million, securing a substantial profit.
Rachael Finch, who is Queensland-born, met her dancer husband Michael Miziner on Dancing With The Stars in 2010. The pair married in 2013 and are parents to daughter Violet, born in September 2014, and son Dominic, born in March 2017.
