Former Big Brother Australia champion Marley Bieyendolo and his American footballer wife Lynn Williams were caught beaming at Perth Airport this week, fresh from celebrating one of the year's most anticipated sporting weddings.
Airport Style and Post-Wedding Glow
The couple, who married themselves in Malibu in December 2024, were evidently still riding the romantic high from the New Year's Eve nuptials of Australian football icon Sam Kerr and her partner, US international Kristie Mewis. The 30-year-old reality TV winner kept his travel attire relaxed but stylish, opting for a black Nike Air Jordan T-shirt paired with simple black Dickies shorts and crisp white Nike trainers.
He completed the look with white earbuds and was seen managing a lilac suitcase alongside a brown backpack. His wife Lynn, 32, a forward for Seattle Reign in the NWSL, matched his casual vibe in a plain navy blue half-zip fleece. She injected a bold flair into her outfit with loose-fitting cheetah-print trousers and finished with white sneakers, accessorising with a large, teal-coloured Stanley cup.
A Glamorous Swan Valley Celebration
The wedding the couple had just left was a star-studded, glamorous affair held at the Venetian-inspired Villa Dionysus in Perth's Swan Valley. The ceremony commenced at 5:30pm AWST on December 31st, with temperatures soaring to 35 degrees. Kristie Mewis, 34, stunned in a sparkling gown featuring a lace corset, while Sam Kerr dazzled in a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie.
In a touching moment, Kerr carried the couple's seven-month-old son, Jagger, down the aisle, which reportedly moved Mewis to tears. Over 100 guests, including numerous teammates from the world of women's football, gathered to watch the pair exchange vows. Guests sought shade from the Perth heat under parasols as a violin and cello duo provided the soundtrack.
A Love Story of Their Own
Marley and Lynn's own romance has been flourishing since they met at university. Their Malibu wedding in late 2024 capped off long-held plans, as Marley had expressed his intention to propose back in 2021. He told The Daily Telegraph at the time that marriage was "definitely in the works" for their future. The couple shared exciting news in October 2024, revealing they are expecting their first child.
Marley's life changed after winning the 2021 series of Big Brother Australia, taking home the $250,000 prize. He emotionally dedicated his win to supporting his father following his mother's passing from cancer. Now, with a growing family and celebrating amongst football's elite, the couple have plenty of reasons for those airport smiles.
