Kristen Stewart's LA stroll with wife Dylan Meyer ahead of film awards
Kristen Stewart's married life and new film success

Kristen Stewart was spotted enjoying a relaxed afternoon with her wife, Dylan Meyer, in their Los Angeles neighbourhood this week. The couple took their dog, Cole, for a walk near Stewart's $2.195 million Los Feliz home, showcasing a casual and playful side away from the spotlight.

A Casual Outing in LA

The 35-year-old Oscar nominee and Chanel ambassador opted for comfortable grey sweatpants and a matching tee, going braless and completing the look with white sneakers. Her hair was styled in a top bun, revealing a partially shaved head. At one point, Stewart was seen performing a playful roundhouse kick while on the grass, highlighting the informal and spirited nature of the outing.

Meyer, 38, the daughter of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Meyer, matched the casual vibe. The pair, who began dating in 2013 after meeting on the set of 'American Ultra', have been married since April 20 of this year. They tied the knot at the Casita Del Campo restaurant following a six-year romance and have since expanded their family with two adopted cats.

Stewart on Marriage and Family

In a recent interview with Esquire on December 9, Stewart reflected on the profound impact of her relationship. "Power in numbers. It's so nice to have a family. It's so nice to not be an unmoored individual," she stated. The actress praised Meyer's influence, saying, "Dylan came into my life and I immediately was like, 'It's so important to handpick and curate the people that surround you.'" She added that being with Meyer is "bolstering" and a reminder that "your life is in your hands."

Career Moves and Critical Acclaim

Professionally, Stewart is riding a wave of success with her feature directorial debut, 'The Chronology of Water', an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch's 2011 memoir. The film, which runs for 128 minutes and stars Imogen Poots, Thora Birch, and Jim Belushi, has earned a 'certified fresh' 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Stewart is set to host two screenings of the film with Poots at New York's Angelika Film Center on January 6, ahead of its US theatrical release on January 9. The project is already garnering awards attention; it will compete for best indie feature and best first feature at the 9th Astra Film Awards, airing on January 9.

Beyond this, Stewart and Meyer co-founded the production company Nevermind Pictures in 2023. Stewart is also preparing to star as astronaut Sally Ride in Amazon MGM's limited series 'The Challenger' and will appear in upcoming projects like 'Flesh of the Gods' and 'Full Phil'.
